New Entrepreneurs
A way to undertake in company and with international reach
Conditions for participation
Want to undertake
You must be an enterprising person who is seriously thinking about starting a business. If you are already or have been an entrepreneur, you should not exceed 3 years of accumulated experience. You must be over 18. There is no age limit to participate.
Having an Entrepreneurship Idea
You must submit a business plan with the following minimum content: 1. Description of the product or service; 2. Market analysis; 3. Competition analysis; 4. Financial plan two years ahead; 5. SWOT analysis.
Demonstrate commitment and support
Demonstrate your motivation and commitment to start a business relationship with an experienced company from another EU country or programme partner countries. You are committed to supporting your ‘host’ and contributing to the development of the business of the company of your choice and hosting you while it offers you mentorship and support during your stay.
Residing in the European Union
It is essential that you reside regularly in one of the countries of the European Union. In fact, if you are from the Canary Islands, keep in mind that you will be able to opt for the highest amount of monthly financing so that you can make your stay comfortably.
Additional costs
You must be able to cover the costs of your stay abroad that exceed the European Union subsidy you receive. We recommend that you take this into account when choosing the duration of your stay.
Entrepreneurship with international reach
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (or Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs) is the European program that will help you test your new venture thanks to a funded stay abroad to receive support and accompaniment from another experienced entrepreneur. You choose the time, from 1 to 6 months, and the destination, with dozens of countries to choose from.
Monthly financial support*
More than 40 destinations available
Boost your entrepreneurship with funded stays in dozens of countries, inside and outside Europe
From 1 to 6 months stay
You can define from the first moment how long you want your stay to last. If it is a European destination it can be from 1 to 6 months. For Beyond EYE destinations, the duration is 1 to 3 months.
* Financial aid may vary depending on origin and destination. However, people residing in the Canary Islands get the maximum amount of €1,200 per month for European and global destinations.
Choose your destination and start
* Kosovo: this designation is without prejudice to positions on status and is in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1244/1999 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.

Are you asking questions? Here you have answers
What should I include in my business plan?
The document follows a standardized pattern, like any other business plan. In particular, you must include the description of the product or service, the cyclical analysis, a financial plan, the SWOT. We encourage you to include values and express your social and environmental commitment through a corporate social responsibility strategy.
How long do the stays last?
It all depends on fate. Exchanges to European countries last from 1 to 6 months. Beyond EYE exchanges will last from 1 to 3 months.
Can I change the length of my stay once it starts?
Yes, it is possible to advance the completion of your stay once it has begun. However, we encourage you to consider how far you will want to go with your project to best adjust the length of stay from the beginning.
How do I choose my host company?
The most common is that, once you complete your registration, you access the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme database. There you will know which companies are welcoming new entrepreneurs. You can choose the one you are interested in and contact her to see if it is possible to ‘match’.
In what language are the stays made?
The bridge language will always be English. However, you can communicate in the local language if you already know it or want to learn it. In fact, it's the best way to get to know the local culture!
Is there a deadline to apply for a stay?
No, there is no deadline to apply for your stay. You can apply to the program at any time, however, you must remember that at the time of making the application you may not have completed more than 3 years of experience as a self-employed person or businesswoman.
What is the amount of financial aid I can receive?
It all depends on fate. However, if you are from the Canary Islands, as this is an outermost region of the European Union, you will receive the maximum amount for any European country, €1,200 per month. For Beyond EYE destinations, the amount will be from €1,050 to €1,200 per month and function of the destination.
