Noelia, a promising new entrepreneur from the Canary Islands, had it clear. She wanted to build her company with the experience that comes with having known successful cases that will guide her in decision-making. Passionate about marketing and social networks, she met through an Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs direct contact. Looking for new growth opportunities was how he launched his stay in Canada, one of our 6 destinations outside Europe.

On the other side of the Atlantic, in Vancouver, was Kenneth, his host, who had founded Careerin Tech, a startup dedicated to connecting companies in the technology sector with new talent and other organizations with common objectives. This business model oriented to the connection of people and organizations was key so that Noelia did not hesitate at any time to make her stay with Kenneth.

For two and a half months, Noelia also got to know Canada and its culture.

Growing with experience

"All companies need to continue to grow and achieve new goals, and each new entrepreneur needs the knowledge and skills that a person with professional background can offer them," Noelia stressed. For two and a half months, they worked together to mobilize new ideas to revitalize Careerin's corporate identity, as well as create new digital communication strategies for their social networks.

However, Kenneth also benefited greatly from this exchange. Interested in learning about other business cultures, Noelia gave him an extensive insight into the workings of the Spanish market, its morphology and opportunities. In this way, rich contrasts of ideas and experiences were chained for several weeks that gave numerous experiences that would help Noelia in her new venture.

For Kenneth, the window that Noelia opened for him towards Spain was of great use and interest: “I was able to share my own entrepreneurship with Noelia, but I also managed to learn more about Spain’s business culture”. The winds of change brought by Noelia crossed with the airs of exchange promoted by Kenneth to conceive a collaboration between both shores of the Atlantic that is getting closer and closer every day, since both plan to continue working together on two new projects during the summer of 2023.
