When Polo Lam decided to leave for Malta, his mission was clear: use virtual reality as a resource to transform education and marketing. This young entrepreneur of Hong Kong origin left the Canary Islands in search of new ways to boost his start-up. DesireVR, an ambitious proposal that seeks to integrate virtual reality in the way we experience education and develop marketing actions.
With the support of the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands, he took his first steps consolidating his project and, later, putting it to the test with one of our international stays. That's how he found Joaquin Pinto Ferrand, co-founder and director of Boom Studies, a company that supports people looking to train internationally, connecting them with educational and job opportunities in countries such as Malta, Dubai, Ireland and Canada.
With a clear vision of how to integrate virtual reality in their relationships with users, Joaquin and Polo worked over four months in the development of solutions that were integrated into the process of presenting destinations through videos and guided tours that help the interested person to discover in an immersive way what their future experience would be like.
After weeks of development, Polo not only presented a complete product and prepared to be used in Boom's customer relations, but, with Joaquin's company, managed to meet numerous educational entities affiliated with the program and that were likely to benefit from the didactic developments in virtual reality that Polo offered. So much so that at the end of Polo's stay, he managed to get a portfolio of potential clients of his own, demonstrating once again the effectiveness of our stays to connect, promote and consolidate your projects.
