BACKGROUND The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme is the European transnational exchange programme that offers novice entrepreneurs and people who want to start a business the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs who run small businesses in other participating countries. Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs was launched in 2009 by the European Commission following an initiative by the European Parliament, and is one of the key actions of the Entrepreneurship 2020 Action Plan, which aims to revive entrepreneurship in Europe, support start-ups at crucial stages of their life cycle and help them grow. The Technological Institute of the Canary Islands has been part of the program as an intermediary office since 2009, advising and supporting entrepreneurs. After the wide participation in the program during these last months, with this event, we think it is a good time to organize a day of dynamization and networking with the Canarian and foreign entrepreneurs participating and interested, to share experiences and make new contacts. We will also have the opportunity to have the participation of María Delia Domínguez, from the Canary Islands ZEC, who will present us with the tax advantages of the Canary Islands, as a business hub where there is also a tool that allows a special tax on Corporate Tax.
