Elbow to elbow, design to design. The Story of Nicola and Andrea

Some come with bread under their arm and others, on the other hand, with innovation in abundance. Nicola Bartoccioni's story begins, as usual, with an unexpected encounter with the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. Encouraged by another colleague who had made one of our funded international stays, he soon made his application and began his search for ‘host’, finding a perfect ‘match’, Andrea Saccà, from Bhoost, a company based in Gran Canaria, Spain, which offers hosting services for e-commerce.

Thus, this young Italian began his itinerary in September 2023 in search of a boost for his design project for interfaces and user experiences. Over the course of 3 months, Nicola and Andrea worked side by side on cutting-edge design and development, from classic web design to the generation of video by artificial intelligence. An innovative and creative experience with which to lay the foundations of your future business.

During those 3 months in Gran Canaria, Nicola had the opportunity to develop professionally, but, of course, to grow personally on a bustling Island, in constant movement that facilitated her to get in touch with her passions and interests, as indicated: “It was an amazing experience. Andrea helped me with my project and allowed me to improve my design skills, in addition to learning how to manage social networks or edit video. Undoubtedly, what I liked the most was being able to work so closely with my host.

And not only does a new venture flourish, but the ‘hosts’ also grow and thrive on fresh ideas. In fact, Andrea did not hesitate to confirm this when she said that Nicola ‘brought innovation and creativity to the company’. These synergies foster innovations at first sight imperceptible, but that are capable of being disruptive through optimal and intelligent digitalization, as this could be the case.

After the exchange, innovation was not slowed down. Nicola and Andrea agreed to continue collaborating, opening the door to professional collaborations and new opportunities to grow, learn and connect in a creative and dynamic professional environment with which to mobilize successful ventures between Italy and the Canary Islands.
