Gizane Vidal, born in Euskadi, had been traveling and working in different parts of Spain for more than a decade. Passionate about design and artistic vocations, she decided to become autonomous motivated by her desire to express her concerns and share them through her work. With this impulse, she soon opened, accompanied by several friends, a coworking space from which to launch herself as an autonomous creative.

Unfortunately, shortly after the opening began the Covid-19 pandemic. The economic effects greatly resented the coworking and Gizane, who took advantage of the difficulties to take the reins and reorient professionally. There began a journey that led her to Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, or as she calls it, "my lifeline!"

Berlin, a creative jungle

For Gizane, the fate was more than clear. Berlin was the place that "boosted and encouraged creativity day and night," he says. Once the site was selected, he decided to approach another sector that is in constant effervescence, the technological one. That's how he met Formation, a German technology startup that offers solutions to increase the productivity and efficiency of professionals in their jobs. One call was enough for her and the company's managers to realize that their interests were fully online.

Within weeks, Gizane landed in Berlin, where he met Ian Hannigan, CEO of the company, and Philipp Stelzer, CSO of the company. Philipp was essential to this exchange. An expert in sales and marketing, with an impeccable eye for detail and an incredible willingness to teach and guide, Phillip fed Gizane's creativity with new challenges and tasks for 6 months.

Support and willingness

Being a startup, Gizane had a vast field of creative opportunities. It was, without a doubt, a blank canvas on which to create, reimagine and learn. Side by side, Gizane and Phillip worked to bring marketing campaigns and even the company's new website to life. In addition, Gizane emphasizes that the experience was tremendously positive from the moment it was presented to the team, generating new ideas and curiosities with which to continue growing every day.

“I always felt valued for my work, and I got a lot of inspiration from what others were doing. They are very hard-working people and I feel tremendously fortunate for this opportunity", stresses Gizane about his experience. Now, the future continues to be bright for both of us. After the good results of this professional relationship, Gizane and Formation will continue to work together. From Formation, they also appreciated the "open mind and willingness to learn" that Gizane took with him to Berlin, that creative jungle.
